More About Antonia

Antonia is a postpartum doula and child development specialist based in Lakeview East, Chicago. She received her Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Loyola University of Chicago and her Master of Science in Child Development with an Infancy Concentration from Erikson Institute. She has 8+ years of experience in the field working with children and families in a variety of settings (nanny/babysitter, assistant toddler teacher, early intervention developmental therapy intern, therapeutic assistant, and more).

While pursuing her graduate degree, Antonia was introduced to the impactful role of a postpartum doula and was instantly drawn to postpartum care for families. Postpartum is an exciting time that also brings many different kinds of emotions and experiences. She hopes that she can be a peaceful presence during your postpartum journey and a resource for your entire family to feel supported and cared for.

With her educational background in infant development, she also hopes to provide families with education and resources around developmental milestones, play ideas, what to expect with your newborn’s behavior, reading newborn cues, and more. She is grateful for the opportunity to be a safe place for families during a time of transition, and of course, loves spending time cuddling newborns!

In addition to her work supporting children and families, Antonia enjoys walks by the lake, reading, coloring, cooking new recipes, and spending time with her cat, Minka!
